dc.description.abstractEn el trabajo de grado se muestra los resultados del trabajo de investigación que se realizó a partir de entrevistas a un grupo de agricultores seleccionados de la base de datos del grupo de la tercera edad del municipio de Rionegro (Antioquia, Colombia). El objetivo era identificar las formas como la identidad cultural y rural de los campesinos de Rionegro se manifiesta en los discursos orales y en los procesos de memoria de la población adulto mayor. La investigación se alimenta de los aportes de las teorías de autores como Betancourt, Halbwachs, Giménez, González, Londoño, entre otros, quienes son el soporte para el desarrollo de las categorías identidad cultural, memoria, ruralidad e historias de vida. Para esta investigación se empleó la técnica de entrevistas semiestructurada mediante la historia oral a un grupo de 12 campesinos de adultos mayores del municipio de Rionegro. Como resultado se encontró, en cuanto a la memoria colectiva, que los adultos mayores agricultores del municipio de Rionegro construyen y reconstruyen en sus discursos todos los sucesos y recuerdos del pasado. Este cúmulo de hechos hacen que ellos, a partir de sus imaginarios, generen una construcción social en el marco rural. En cuanto a identidad cultural, los adultos mayores, al transcurrir de los años, mantienen un sentido de pertenencia frente a ellos mismos y frente a su territorio. Esto da cuenta que ellos no viven, sino que habitan sus entornos, lo hacen parte de ellos como su mayor patrimonio cultural donde se guardan todas las experiencias e historias del pasado y de las cuales ellos fueron protagonistas. Finalmente, en la ruralidad se refleja que estas personas son totalmente emocionales debido a la relación tan estrecha que formaron con su territorio, pues cuidan y defienden a toda costa sus tierras. Su trabajo lo realizaron con afectividad y sentimentalismo ya que es el legado que les dejaron sus ancestros.es_ES
dc.description.abstractenglishThe article shows the results of the research work carried out from interviews with a group of farmers selected from the database of the group of the elderly in the municipality of Rionegro (Antioquia, Colombia). The objective was to identify the ways in which the rural and cultural identity of the farmers of Rionegro is manifested in the oral discourses and in the memory processes of the elderly population. The research is fed by the contributions of the theories of some authors such as Betancourt, Halbwachs, Giménez, González, Londoño, among others, who are the support for the development of the categories: cultural identity, memory, rurality and life stories; For this investigation, the semi-structured interview technique was used through oral history to a group of 12 elderly farmers from the municipality of Rionegro. As a result, a collective memory was found: in their speeches, the elderly farmers of the municipality of Rionegro construct and reconstruct all the events and memories of the past, this accumulation of facts make them, through their imaginary, generate a social construction, within the framework rural, cultural identity enables older adults over the years to maintain a sense of belonging to themselves and to their territory, this realizes that they do not live, but inhabit their environments, they are part of them as its greatest cultural heritage where all the experiences and stories of the past are kept and of which they were protagonists; in rural areas it is reflected that these people are totally emotional due to the close relationship they formed with their territory, they care for and defend their lands at all costs, their work was carried out with affection and sentimentality since it is the legacy that their ancestors. These categories lead us to the development of this article.es_ES
