dc.description.abstractEl cuidado es un modo ser esencial para proteger y mantener la vida humana, y la recopilación que hace este libro apunta en dicho sentido. En tanto que hoy se hace necesaria la comprensión del cuidado como actitud única para que el ser humano pueda vivir una vida digna de ser vivida, se han recogido diferentes escritos que reflexionan sobre cuatro principales escenarios, en los que se ha visto el descuido, el abandono, la indiferencia y tanto la destrucción como la autodestrucción. Ahora bien, los escritos aquí compilados no solo muestran los contextos y realidades de dónde esto ocurre o cómo ocurre, sino que también reflexionan sobre las alternativas que se deben poner en marcha para que esto cambie. Tomando cuatro temas claves para el mundo contemporáneo: medioambiente, derechos humanos, familia, vida y salud, los autores arriban a una conclusión que debería ser de carácter imperativo: la necesidad del cambio de perspectiva ante el mundo, la necesidad de terminar con las prácticas de un sistema devastador y darle nuevamente más sentido a la existencia, la necesidad del cuidado como actitud, de manera que se puedan recuperar entornos sanos y propicios para el hombre. es_ES
