dc.description.abstractEl objetivo del presente artículo será describir la importancia de la agroecología en las prácticas agrícolas de la región, destacando su efectividad en el paso de una agricultura convencional a aquella orientada a sistemas más diversificados, autosuficientes y sostenibles. Este análisis servirá como referente teórico y contextual de la actual investigación que se lleva a cabo sobre la Evaluación de la Cátedra Agroecológica que fue dictada a los Centros Educativos Rurales de Marinilla-Antioquia en el año 2005, lo cual sin duda, se plantea como un tema de innovación, bienestar y calidad de vida para las comunidades que por años han dependido de este sector para su subsistencia, y que comprendiendo dicho paradigma desde sus beneficios ecológicos y medio ambientales, le apuesta a una actividad más competitiva y abierta a las nuevas exigencias del mundo. Por consiguiente, este estudio expondrá brevemente los avances que a nivel internacional, nacional y local ha tenido la agroecología como eje central del desarrollo y la sostenibilidad de la región.es_ES
dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of the article will be to describe the importance of agroecology in agricultural practices, emphasizing its primordial role to make the shift from conventional agriculture to that oriented to more diversified, self-sufficient and sustainable systems. This analysis will serve as a theoretical and contextual reference of the current research that is carried out on the Evaluation of the agroecological chair that was dictated to the Rural Educational Centers in the year 2005 in Marinilla-Antioquia. That undoubtedly, it is proposed as a topic of innovation, wellbeing and quality of life for the communities that for years have depended on this sector to survive, and that understanding this paradigm from its ecological and environmental benefits, is committed to a more competitive and open activity the new demands of the world Therefore, this study will briefly show the progress made at the international, national and local level by agroecology as the central axis of the development and sustainability of the region.es_ES
