dc.description.abstractLa escucha es una de las cuatro habilidades fundamentales del lenguaje, implica la relación consciente consigo mismo y con el otro e involucra un fundamento ético que permite el diálogo, la comunicación y la convivencia. En la actualidad, se presentan múltiples problemas por la falta de escucha, la cual es recurrentemente confundida con el oír. Varias investigaciones aquí relacionadas, demuestran cómo esta confusión afecta el proceso formativo en el ámbito escolar. Por ello, a través de esta investigación con enfoque cualitativo de tipo descriptivo y utilizando instrumentos como son las fichas de observación, encuestas y entrevistas se establecieron los significados que estudiantes de 13 años les dieron a los conceptos de ética, escucha, diálogo, comunicación y convivencia y se caracterizó su actitud de escucha. Con esto, se buscó analizar los efectos de la escucha en su proceso formativo y como fundamento ético del diálogo, la comunicación y la convivencia. De este modo, se evidenció que los estudiantes, aunque lograron definir los conceptos planteados en la investigación, no alcanzaron a profundizar en ellos ni a hacerlos conscientes como para comprender su necesidad e importancia; reconocieron que la escucha es una actitud que denota respeto y le da valor al diálogo, y por tanto a la convivencia; pero no es su prioridad interiorizarlo ni aplicarlo a la realidad que viven. La cultura emergente valora lo urgente por encima de lo importante, y ha llevado a que nuestros jóvenes, vivan en el afán y la superficialidad de las cosas, sin reflexionar o profundizar en sus actos y en las consecuencias que estos tienen para su vida y la de los demás; lo cual merece gran atención desde la educación.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishListening is one of the four fundamental language skills; it implies a conscious relationship with oneself and with others and involves an ethical foundation that allows for dialogue, communication and coexistence. Nowadays, multiple problems arise due to the lack of listening, which is recurrently confused with hearing. Several investigations related here demonstrate how this confusion affects the formative process in the school environment. Therefore, through this research with a descriptive qualitative approach and using instruments such as observation cards, surveys and interviews, the meanings that 13-year-old students gave to the concepts of ethics, listening, dialogue, communication and coexistence were established and their listening attitude was characterized. With this, we sought to analyze the effects of listening in their formative process and as an ethical foundation for dialogue, communication and coexistence. In this way, it was evidenced that although the students were able to define the concepts proposed in the research, they were not able to go deeper into them or make them conscious enough to understand their need and importance; they recognized that listening is an attitude that denotes respect and gives value to dialogue, and therefore to coexistence; but it is not their priority to internalize it or apply it to the reality they live. The emerging culture values the urgent over the important, and has led our young people to live in the eagerness and superficiality of things, without reflecting or delving into their actions and the consequences they have for their lives and the lives of others; which deserves great attention from education.spa
