dc.description.abstractLa posición privilegiada que tiene el sector floricultor colombiano en el mercado internacional, potenciada en gran medida por el Oriente Antioqueño, obliga a las empresas a buscar formas que les ayuden a destacarse, siendo una de ellas las acreditaciones en buenas prácticas agrícolas. De acuerdo con lo anterior, este estudio pretende presentar los beneficios basados en experiencias e investigaciones que la implementación de las certificaciones Global GAP y Florverde Flores Sostenibles genera a las empresas interna y comercialmente, junto con los costos más significativos que se deben llevar a cabo, y así dar a conocer de una manera más amplia el acercamiento a estas implementaciones.La cooperación de las empresas del Oriente Antioqueño permite en gran medida dar respuesta a la pregunta de investigación. Esto a través de la respuesta a encuestas que muestran el impacto de las certificaciones internacionales en cada uno de sus procesos administrativos, productivos y comerciales. De esta manera, las empresas floricultoras dejan saber que tienen un conocimiento claro sobre las certificaciones con las que cuentan y el papel que juega cada una de ellas, ayudando a determinar los diferentes intereses por los cuales deciden certificarse con Global G.A.P. o Florverde Flores Sostenibles, intereses basados en la capacidad de asumir costos, y principalmente conquistar un mercado objetivo.La experiencia de las empresas certificadas establece que los costos de la certificación justifican los beneficios que se les atribuyen. La recopilación de conocimientos recogida en esta investigación pretende aportar conocimientos a las empresas que contemplan la idea de certificarse.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe privileged position that the Colombian flower sector has in the international market, greatly enhanced by Eastern Antioquia, forces companies to seek ways to help them stand out, one of these being the accreditations in good agricultural practices. In accordance with the above, this study aims to present the benefits based on experiences and research that the implementation of the Global GAP and Florverde Sustainable Flowers certifications generates to companies internally and commercially, together with the most significant costs that must be carried out, and thus make known in a broader way the approach to these implementations.The cooperation of the companies of Eastern Antioquia allows to a great extent to answer the research question. This is through the response to surveys that show the impact of international certifications in each of their administrative, productive and commercial processes. In this way, the floriculture companies let know that they have clear knowledge about the certifications they have and the role played by each one of them, helping to determine the different interests for which they decide to be certified with Global G.A.P. or Florverde Sustainable Flowers, interests based on the capacity to assume costs, and mainly to conquer a target market.The experience of certified companies establishes that the costs of certification justify the benefits attributed to them. The compilation of knowledge gathered in this research aims to provide knowledge to companies contemplating the idea of becoming certified.eng
