dc.description.abstractEste proyecto pretendía acercarse al uso de los traductores online en los estudiantes de los cursos de inglés de una universidad privada. Se llevo a cabo para identificar el uso de estas herramientas en la producción escrita, así como el análisis de las perspectivas relacionadas con el uso. Este estudio se realizó con 12 estudiantes de los cursos de inglés del segundo semestre de la licenciatura en lenguas extranjeras con énfasis en inglés. Los datos fueron recolectados mediante un estudio de caso y una encuesta cuyos resultados fueron contrastados; además, los hallazgos mostraron que los estudiantes utilizan los traductores en línea de manera indiscriminada. De esta manera, se evidenció un prejuicio en las creencias de los estudiantes ya que existe un sentimiento contradictorio en lo que hacen y lo que creen que hacen, demostrando una falta de uso de los traductores con fines pedagógicos.es_ES
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project aimed to be close to the use of online translators in students of English courses in a private university. It was committed to identify the use of these tools in the written production, as well as the analysis of the perspectives related with the use. This study was achieved with 12 students of English courses of the second semester of the degree in foreign languages with emphasis in English. Data was collected through a case study and a survey which results were contrasted; furthermore, the findings showed that the students use online translators in an indiscriminate way. In this manner, a prejudice was evidenced in the beliefs of the students since there is a contradictory feeling in what they do and what they think they do, demonstrating a lack of the use of translators with pedagogical purposes.es_ES
