dc.description.abstractEl presente libro, Análisis del mercado laboral: retos, desafíos y oportunidades, está enmarcado en la línea de acción No. 1 del Observatorio del Mercado Laboral del Oriente antioqueño, la cual se orienta a generar estudios para el monitoreo y análisis del mercado de trabajo, de acuerdo con las necesidades e intereses de las instituciones participantes y del territorio. El mercado laboral es dinámico y muestra cómo son esas relaciones que se dan entre empleadores (demanda) y las personas que buscan trabajo remunerado (oferta). Con referencia a esta última, su evolución no solo se explica desde la óptica económica, sino que existen variables sociales como el género, la edad, el nivel educativo, la cultura, entre otros, que son determinantes a la hora de analizar la oferta laboral, lo cual presenta retos y desafíos complejos a la hora de formular políticas, estrategias y acciones que conduzcan a un equilibrio. Esta obra es posible gracias al trabajo mancomunado entre el Observatorio y las administraciones municipales de los siguientes municipios: Rionegro, El Retiro, El Carmen de Viboral, Marinilla, Abejorral y La Ceja del Tambo que desplegaron las capacidades operativas y logísticas necesarias para llevar a cabo el estudio, el cual utilizó como instrumento para la recolección de información una encuesta revisada por el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE) y ajustada según los criterios de la Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH), denominada: Encuesta para la medición y caracterización del mercado laboral en el Oriente antioqueño 2022.spa
