dc.description.abstractLa eutrofización en embalses es un tema que viene afectando la calidad del agua de ecosistemas lenticos en la zona andina Colombia, debido a condiciones antropogénicas que ocurren en la cuenca que los abastece. En el presente estudio se analizarán los embalses Peñol-Guatapé, San Lorenzo, Punchiná, Porce II y III y Amaní, en los cuales esta condición puede influir de gran manera en el enriquecimiento por nutrientes y que los sistemas vayan adquiriendo características físico-químicas diferentes a las naturales, generando otras dinámicas en el ecosistema y deteriorando la calidad del agua. Este trabajo se realizó con el fin de evaluar el estado trófico de seis embalses de la zona andina colombiana y ver su relación con algunas variables físico química. Se determinó el estado trófico de los embalses por medio del modelo de Salas y Martino (2001), además se utilizaron análisis estadísticos en los cuales se encontraron diferencias significativas entre embalses. Adicionalmente se hallaron algunas similitudes de variables entre embalses y finalmente, se determinaron las variables que más influyeron en el estado trófico de estos embalses siendo estas el fósforo total (P), los Ortofosfatos (PO4), el nitrógeno amoniacal (NH3), Nitrógeno Total kjeldahl (NTK) y la conductividad. Finalmente, se evidencio que los embalses Porce II y Peñol-Guatapé presentan una tendencia a ser Eutróficos, Porce III Mesotrófico y Punchiná, San Lorenzo y Amaní Oligotróficos.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishEutrophication in reservoirs is an issue that has been affecting the water quality of the lentic ecosystems in the Andean region of Colombia, due to the anthropogenic conditions that occur in the basin that supplies it. In the present study the Peñol-Guatapé, San Lorenzo, Punchiná, Porce II and III and Amaní reservoirs will be analyzed, in which this condition can greatly influence nutrient enrichment and that the systems acquire physical characteristics-different from the natural ones, generating other dynamics in the ecosystem and deteriorating the quality of the water. This work was carried out in order to evaluate the trophic status of six reservoirs in the Colombian Andean zone and to see their relationship with some chemical-physical variables. The trophic status of the reservoirs was determined by means of the Salas and Martino (2001) model, and it will also be used in the statistical analysis in which different differences between reservoirs are found. In addition, there are some similarities of variables between reservoirs and finally, the variables that most influenced the trophic state of these reservoirs were determined, these being total phosphorus (P), Orthophosphates (PO4), ammoniacal nitrogen (NH3), Total Nitrogen kjeldahl (NTK) and conductivity. Furthermore, it is evident that the Porce II and Peñol-Guatapé reservoirs have a tendency to be Eutrophic, Porce III Mesotrophic and Punchiná, San Lorenzo and Amaní Oligotróficosen
