dc.description.abstractLa pandemia global generada por el coronavirus en poco tiempo alteró tan profundamente la vida y la manera de vivir de las personas en todo el planeta que es claro que el mundo no volverá a ser el mismo, muchos aseguran que estamos ante el inicio de una nueva época de la humanidad. Esta pandemia, además, puso en evidencia que el ser humano, a pesar de haberse superado tanto como especie y haber alcanzado logros increíbles, es frágil y que la sociedad que ha construido tiene graves problemas estructurales, los cuales debe tratar de corregir si quiere que esa nueva época que se vislumbra, sea mejor que la anterior. Entre los problemas más relevantes podemos enumerar, el deterioro del medio ambiente, el cambio climático y calentamiento global, altos niveles de inequidad, pobreza en la que viven millones de personas, que con frecuencia son descartadas, persistencia de guerras y violencia. Este artículo presenta cuatro aportes que la Doctrina Social de la Iglesia –DSI pone a disposición de todos y que, a criterio de su autor, se consideran, no solamente útiles, sino indispensables, estratégicos y sinérgicos en la tarea de construir esa nueva época pos-coronavirus en la que sea posible superar dichos problemas. Éstos son: humanización de la economía, cuidado de la casa común, cultura del encuentro y globalización de la solidaridad.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe global pandemic generated by the coronavirus so profoundly altered in a short period of time the life and way of life of people all over the planet that it is clear that the world will never be the same again, many assure that we are at the beginning of a new epoch of humanity. This pandemic also made it clear that human beings, despite having overcome so much as a species and having achieved incredible accomplishments, are fragile and that the society they have built has serious structural problems, which they must try to correct if they want this new era that is on the horizon to be better than the previous one. Among the most relevant problems are the deterioration of the environment, climate change and global warming, high levels of inequality, poverty in which millions of people live, who are often discarded, and the persistence of wars and violence. This article presents four contributions that the Social Doctrine of the Church (SDC) makes available to all and which, in the author's opinion, are considered not only useful, but indispensable, strategic and synergistic in the task of building a new post-coronavirus era in which it will be possible to overcome these problems. These are: humanization of the economy, care of the common home, culture of encounter and globalization of solidarity.spa
