dc.description.abstractLa tecnología de la información y la comunicación (TIC) desempeña un papel fundamental en la provisión del conocimiento global de los estudiantes, proporcionándoles el material más nuevo y la práctica significativa. Este artículo describe un proyecto de investigación de acción llevado a cabo en un centro de idiomas de una universidad privada en el este de Antioquia y analiza los beneficios de la implementación e integración del podcasting en el aprendizaje de idiomas como una estrategia para refinar la producción oral de los estudiantes. La implementación de las acciones incluyó temas basados en el plan de estudios establecido y las grabaciones se centraron en tareas auténticas. Las grabaciones de los estudiantes fueron analizadas y comparadas con las percepciones de estudiantes y maestros sobre el proceso. Los resultados evidenciaron cómo la producción oral de los estudiantes mejoró positivamente y mejoró su pronunciación, vocabulario y precisión.es_ES
dc.description.abstractenglishInformation and Communication Technology (ICT) plays a fundamental role in proffering students’ worldly knowledge, providing them with the newest material and meaningful practice. This article describes an action research project carried out at a language center of a private university in Eastern Antioquia and discusses the benefits of the implementation and integration of podcasting in language learning as a strategy to refine students’ oral production. The implementation of the actions involved topics based on the established curriculum and the recordings were focused on authentic tasks. Students’ recordings were analyzed and compared with students and teachers’ perceptions about the process. The results evidenced how students’ oral production was positively improved, and as well as it was enhanced their pronunciation, vocabulary, and accuracy.es_ES
