dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este estudio es describir cuál es la concepción que tienen los profesores en formación de un programa de licenciatura en lenguas extranjeras en relación con el quehacer docente. Esta investigación se realizó bajo un enfoque cualitativo y un paradigma interpretativo, y cuyo método, la sistematización de experiencias, permitió profundizar en los aspectos que conforman la concepción del quehacer docente de los quince participantes. Los datos recopilados a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas y diarios de campo fueron categorizados para facilitar el análisis y, por lo tanto, proporcionar información confiable en los hallazgos. Los resultados mostraron que la concepción del quehacer docente de los participantes estaba muy ligada a las experiencias que tuvieron durante su proceso de formación y su práctica. Además, un punto de vista común sobre la práctica docente expresada por los participantes sugiere que todos la conciben como una práctica que va más allá del mero hecho de transmitir un conocimiento específico, ya que los profesores participan inevitablemente en todas las situaciones que se producen en los entornos educativos. En otras palabras, los participantes asociaron el quehacer docente con una actividad humana cuyo propósito es contribuir al desarrollo de los estudiantes, la comunidad y la sociedad.es_ES
dc.description.abstractenglishThis study aimed to describe what is the conception pre-service teachers from a foreign language teaching education program have concerning the teaching practice. This inquiry was conducted under a qualitative approach and an interpretative paradigm, and whose method, systematization of experiences, allowed us to deepen the aspects that shape the teaching practice conception of the fifteen participants. The data gathered through semi-structured interviews and journals were categorized in order to facilitate the analysis, and therefore, provide reliable information in the findings. The results showed that participants’ conception of the teaching practice was highly linked to the experiences they had during their formation process and their practicum. Additionally, a common viewpoint on the teaching practice expressed by participants suggests that they all conceived it as a practice that goes beyond the mere act of transmitting a specific knowledge since teachers inevitably take part in all the situations occurring in the educational settings. In other words, participants associated the teaching practice with a human activity whose purpose is to contribute to the development of learners, community, and society.es_ES
