dc.description.abstractEn este trabajo se indaga por los imaginarios que, desde la ruralidad, llevan a los jóvenes a construir una imagen de la ciudad que la convierte en anhelo, deseo y proyección de vida. Para este fin, se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad y cuestionarios a jóvenes de una institución educativa del municipio El Santuario, ubicado en el Oriente antioqueño, región que presenta características significativas por las cuales sirve como ilustración de la relación rural/urbano atravesada por lo imaginario, y que se concreta en fenómenos como la migración desde los campos hacia las ciudades. Desde una perspectiva cualitativa, abordada en un nivel exploratorio y orientada por el método fenomenológico-hermenéutico, aquí se muestran resultados parciales del ejercicio de indagación. Los resultados obtenidos muestran una relación precaria con el territorio propio, basada en la identificación de carencias y que contrasta, por otra parte, con una imagen de ciudad que, a pesar de insegura, injusta y hostil, aparece como escenario para la realización de los proyectos de vida. Estos resultados ayudan a reconocer las razones por las cuales las migraciones a los centros urbanos son uno de los fenómenos recurrentes en el Oriente antioqueño y en el mundo.es_ES
dc.description.abstractenglishIn this work, we investigate the imaginary that, from rurality, lead young people to build an image of the city that turns it into a longing, desire and projection of life. To this end, in-depth interviews and questionnaires were conducted with young people from an educational institution in the municipality of El Santuario, located in the East of Antioquia, a region that presents significant characteristics for which it serves as an illustration of the rural / urban relationship crossed by the imaginary, and that takes shape in phenomena such as migration from the fields to the cities. From a qualitative perspective, addressed at an exploratory level and guided by the phenomenological-hermeneutical method, partial results of the inquiry exercise are shown here. The results obtained show a precarious relationship with the territory itself, based on the identification of deficiencies and which contrasts, on the other hand, with an image of a city that, despite insecurity, unfair and hostile, appears as a scenario for the realization of Life projects. These results help to recognize the reasons why migrations to urban centers are one of the recurring phenomena in the East of Antioquia and in the world.es_ES
