dc.description.abstractLa globalización trae consigo nuevas formas de comunicar y ocupar el territorio, nuevos conceptos de ciudadanía, nuevos agentes de cambio que están en la tarea de transformar y protagonizar nuevas formas de organizar y pertenecer a la región que habitan. En el desarrollo de este artículo de revisión, se rastrean teóricamente los conceptos de comunicación y desarrollo; se exploran las nuevas convenciones de trabajo que trae consigo la globalización y por último se hace un proceso de indagación al concepto nuevas ciudadanías. A lo sumo, la categoría identidades, será un concepto transversal a lo largo de este artículo académico.es_ES
