dc.description.abstract	La relación del hombre y las herramientas que le han procurado su escalamiento a la condición de especie dominante, ha atravesado momentos de tensión y paradoja. La pregunta por el hombre abandonó el territorio de lo metafísico y se inscribió en el campo de lo cibernético con miras a su mejoramiento. El presente escrito reflexiona en torno a ese proceso de inflexión. Apoyándose en la revisión de literatura, se examinan, en primer lugar, los cambios filogenéticos del ser humano y cómo ellos derivaron en la aparición de las herramientas empleadas para su defensa y subsistencia; posteriormente, se analizan las principales causas y efectos de la mecanización de la industria y la digitalización de la vida cotidiana, culminando con los retos que conlleva la configuración de una nueva agenda humana de la mano de la ciencia.	spa
dc.description.abstractenglish	The link between mankind and the tools that have provided his survival and escalation to the condition of dominant specie on earth has gone through tense and paradoxical moments. The progress of human evolution, at some point, became an object of study. The question about man left the territory of the metaphysical and enrolled in the field of cybernetics with a view to its improvement. This paper reflects on this process of inflection. Based on the literature review, the author examines, first of all, the phylogenetic changes evidenced by mankind and how they resulted in the appearance of the tools used for their defense and subsistence; subsequently, the main causes and effects of the mechanization of the industry and the digitalization of daily life are analyzed, culminating with the challenges of setting up a new human agenda in the hands of science.	eng
