| spa |
dc.description.abstractenglish | This project builds a work plan that allows the implementation of an inventory system that facilitates the management of incoming and outgoing products in the Colinas Minimarket. The document analyzes the different merchandise models used in different global industries and identifies that the ABC system allows a more optimal control in companies where there is a high flow of inventories. In this way, a planning instrument is designed that details the activities necessary to establish such system in the company and which is built with the purpose of being a flexible procedure that adapts to the needs of the organization and its processes. Inventory management has been present in the system of industries since the beginning of society; throughout the years, companies have produced and transformed different inputs to turn them into tangible and interchangeable goods in the commercial world. Different actors participate in this transaction: suppliers, producers, distributors, customers or consumers, seen from different perspectives of the supply chain; when this commercial transfer takes place, the parties involved receive their respective benefits (either in cash or in kind), which are reinvested to supply the company, start the production process or marketing, in order to generate profits; in this flow, materials and information interact by means of remissions and receptions of the parties involved. In this process, different logistic mechanisms are necessary to support the permanent flow of resources that interact in the supply chain, from the control of raw materials and inputs that enter the company to the final process where the products are transferred to a client or final consumer. | eng |
