| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo determinar la presencia de síntomas asociados y el grado de estrés, ansiedad y depresión en los enfermeros profesionales que laboran en una institución de salud mental de Antioquia, a partir de la implementación de la escala de medición DASS 21, la cual, a través de su aplicación, mide la presencia de estrés, ansiedad y depresión, y categoriza por niveles su gravedad. Para lograr el objetivo de esta investigación se caracterizó sociodemográfica mente el personal profesional de enfermería encuestado, a partir de variables como el género, estado civil, edad, estrato social, zona de residencia, personas a cargo y vivienda, así mismo, se relacionaron estas variables, con el fin de determinar con que intensidad afectan o no la salud mental de los profesionales, para finalmente, describir los procesos preventivos y mejora de su salud mental. El trabajo que aquí se expone se realizó utilizando una metodología cuantitativa analítica descriptiva, se optó por un análisis estadístico para facilitar la exposición de los resultados y la aplicación de los dos instrumentos; finalmente, se evidenció que el medio laboral del área de salud mental expone a los profesionales de enfermería a situaciones desencadenantes de síntomas asociados a estrés, ansiedad y depresión debido al contexto en el que laboran. | |
| dc.description.abstracteng | The objective of this project is to determine the presence of associated symptoms and the degree of stress, anxiety and depression in professional nurses working in a mental health institution in Antioquia, based on the implementation of the DASS 21 measurement scale, which, through its application, measures the presence of stress, anxiety and depression, and categorizes their severity by levels. In order to achieve the objective of this research, the surveyed professional nurses were sociodemographically characterized, based on variables such as gender, marital status, age, social stratum, area of residence, dependents and housing, and these variables were also related in order to determine the intensity with which they affect or not the mental health of the professionals, and finally, to describe the preventive processes and improvement of their mental health. The work presented here was carried out using a descriptive analytical quantitative methodology, a statistical analysis was chosen to facilitate the presentation of the results and the application of the two instruments; finally, it was shown that the work environment in the mental health area exposes nursing professionals to situations that trigger symptoms associated with stress, anxiety and depression due to the context in which they work. | |
