dc.description.abstractEn el marco de este estudio, se articulan herramientas de investigación tanto de normatividad vigente, como teóricas y del recurso humano profesional del Equipo de Bienestar y Salud de la Alcaldía de Rionegro y de las personas adultas mayores que participan en los programas que les ofrece el centro gerontológico denominado “Centro Día”, para adquirir resultados concisos y confiables a la hora de evaluar la participación y apropiación de los adultos mayores sobre la política pública. Este artículo de informe es importante para los entes administrativos, porque, en primer lugar, se reconoce la falta de conocimiento sobre la implementación y ejecución de las Políticas Públicas, que actúa como barrera de inclusión para con los adultos mayores en los programas de envejecimiento activo y atenúa su desconocimiento sobre sus derechos y deberes de las políticas públicas, y donde la educación en los mismos es parte fundamental para no tener discriminación social en ninguna circunstancia. Es importante por ello, conocer, analizar y entregar unas sugerencias puntuales con respecto a las falencias que presenta la implementación de la Política Pública de Envejecimiento Humano y Vejez y actuar en consecuencia frente al desconocimiento y todo lo que ello implica, la vulneración de derechos frente a la salud; aislamiento y autoexclusión de la sociedad.
dc.description.abstractengWithin the framework of this study, research tools are articulated both from current regulations, as well as theoretical and professional human resources of the Welfare and Health Team of the Mayor's Office of Rionegro and older adults who participate in the programs offered by the gerontological center called “Day Center”, to acquire concise and reliable results when evaluating the participation and appropriation of older adults on public policy. This report article is important for the administrative entities, because, in the first place, it recognizes the lack of knowledge about the implementation and execution of the Public Policies, which acts as a barrier of inclusion for the older adults in the active aging programs and attenuates their lack of knowledge about their rights and duties of the public policies, and where the education about them is a fundamental part in order not to have social discrimination in any circumstance. It is therefore important to know, analyze and deliver specific suggestions regarding the shortcomings of the implementation of the Public Policy on Human Aging and Old Age and act accordingly in the face of ignorance and all that this implies, the violation of rights to health, isolation and self-exclusion from society.
