dc.description.abstractEl Sistema Interamericano de Protección de los Derechos Humanos, comienza específicamente en 1948, año en que nace la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos. Empieza así, una esperanza a nivel mundial para salvaguardar los derechos de todas las personas después de las catástrofes ocurridas en la primera mitad del Siglo XX. Lo anterior, reforzó el carácter de los Derechos Humanos, siendo reconocidos también derechos sociales y económicos, además de los civiles y políticos. Ahora bien, es también cierto, que estos últimos derechos son imperativos para el capitalismo de libre mercado funcione, pues este sistema económico precisa la salvaguarda fundamental del derecho a la propiedad. Por ello, el presente trabajo intenta, tomando como ejemplo el Sistema Interamericano de Derechos Humanos, demostrar que los sistemas internacionales de protección de los Derechos Humanos son necesarios para poder garantizar los derechos básicos que una economía de libre mercado precisa.
dc.description.abstractengThe Inter-American System for the Protection of Human Rights begins specifically in 1948, the year in which the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was born. It begins this way, a worldwide hope to safeguard the rights of all people afterthe catastrophes that occurred in the first half of the 20th Century. The above, reinforced the character of Human Rights, being recognized also social and economic rights, in addition to civil and political rights. Now, it is also true that these last rights are imperatives for free market capitalism to work, because this economic system requires the fundamental safeguard of the right to property. For this reason, this work tries, taking as an example the Inter-American Human Rights System, to demonstrate that the international systems of protection of Human Rights are necessary to be able to guarantee the basic rights that a free market economy requires.
