| dc.description.abstract | El trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad evaluar el efecto de la inclusión de harina de morera (Morus alba) y quiebrabarrigo (Trichanthera gigantea) con respecto al alimento balanceado comercial (ABC), en la alimentación de pollos para engorde. El estudio se llevó a cabo con pollos de la línea Ross × Ross, los cuales se levantaron a partir de las dos semanas de vida hasta finalizar su ciclo productivo a las seis semanas de vida, se analizaron algunos parámetros zootécnicos como: curva de crecimiento, ganancia de peso, conversión alimenticia, consumo alimenticio y rendimiento en canal. Se aplicó un diseño experimental completamente aleatorio, con tres tratamientos y un testigo (cada tratamiento con 11 repeticiones); el tratamiento 1 (T1) fue una dieta con 90 % ABC, 5 % de morera y 5 % de quiebrabarrigo; el tratamiento 2 (T2) tuvo 80 % ABC 10 % de quiebrabarrigo y 10 % de morera; el tratamiento 3 (T3) fue 65 % ABC, 17,5 % de quiebrabarrigo 17,5 % de morera; y el testigo (TE) con un 100 % ABC. El análisis de varianza, demostró que el rendimiento en canal no hay diferencia significativa en ninguno de los tratamientos. Mientras que para el peso final se encontró diferencia significativa del T1 con respecto a los T2, T3 y TE, con pesos finales de 1394 g, 2122,2 g, 2232,2 g y 2144,4 g, respectivamente. En general el porcentaje de inclusión que mostró mejores resultados demostró fue el T3, constituyéndose de este modo en una buena alternativa para la alimentación de las aves y la disminución de los costos de producción | |
| dc.description.abstracteng | The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of the inclusion of Mul-berry (Morus alba) and Trichanthera gigantea flour with respect to commercial balanced feed (ABC) in the feeding of broilers. The study was carried out with 44 Ross × Ross chickens, which were raised from the two weeks of age until the end of their productive cycle at six weeks of age. In the research we ana-lyzed some zootechnical parameters, such as: growth curve, weight gain, feed conversion, food consumption and channel performance. The study was per-formed using a completely randomized experimental design, with three treat-ments and one control (each treatment with 11 replicates), treatment 1 (T1) consists of a diet with 90 % ABC and 5 % of Trichanthera gigantea and 5 % of mulberry, treatment 2 (T2) with 80 % ABC and 10 % flour from Trichan-thera gigantea, 10 % pf mulberry, treatment 3 (T3) 65 % ABC and 35 % flour from Trichanthera gigantea and mulberry; treatment 4 or control (TE) 100 % ABC. With the data obtained, an analysis of variance was performed with the R-Project program, which showed that in channel performance there was no significant difference in any of the treatments (yields of 60,20 %, 32,59 %, y 63,51 % 61,51 % for T1, T2, T3 and TE respectively). In general, the percent-age of inclusion that showed better results showed the T3, becoming a good alternative to feed the broilers and to reduce production costs. | |
