| dc.description.abstract | Las Rutas Integrales de Atención en Salud fueron adoptadas en el marco de la Resolución 3202 de 2016 como parte de la Política de Atención Integral en Salud del Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social en Colombia. Estas rutas se basan en brindar atención integral a personas, familias y comunidades a través de intervenciones que abarcan valoración integral, detección temprana, diagnóstico, tratamiento, rehabilitación, educación para la salud y protección específica. En Bogotá, se implementaron las RIAS por parte de la Secretaría de Integración Social de la Alcaldía. Esta ruta se centró en abordar los trastornos mentales, consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y eventos psicosociales prioritarios para la salud pública. Se realizó una valoración mental para identificar a las personas con mayores riesgos psicosociales y priorizar su atención. Además, se promovieron pautas de crianza positiva, prácticas de cuidado de la salud, alimentación saludable, derechos sexuales y reproductivos, convivencia pacífica, protección del medio ambiente y apoyo a los cuidadores en varias localidades de la ciudad. En Ciudad Bolívar, también se implementó una ruta de atención integral dentro de las RIAS enfocada en la población con riesgo o trastornos mentales y comportamentales debido al consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y adicciones. Las RIAS en Colombia buscan proporcionar atención integral en salud a través de rutas de atención específicas, involucrando tanto al sector público como al privado. Con estas rutas se han abordo problemáticas como trastornos mentales y consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, priorizando la detección temprana, el tratamiento y la promoción de estilos de vida saludables. Además, se ha enfocado en la atención diferencial y comunitaria. | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | This research explores the implementation of the Rutas Integrales de Atención en Salud (RIAS) in Colombia, focusing on the Ruta Integral de Promoción y Mantenimiento de la Salud at the community level. The RIAS are a set of strategies designed to provide comprehensive and coordinated care throughout people's life cycle, addressing their health needs from prevention and promotion to disease management and rehabilitation. These pathways aim to address the challenges faced by the health system in terms of fragmentation, lack of continuity of care and inequity in access to services. The study investigates the challenges and achievements of the implementation of the Integrated Health Promotion and Maintenance Pathway in the community context in Colombia. It examines specific cases, such as the implementation of the route by the Secretariat of Social Integration in Bogotá and its focus on addressing mental health disorders, substance abuse and psychosocial events. In addition, it explores the implementation of the route in Ciudad Bolivar, which focuses on the population at risk or with mental and behavioural disorders manifested due to substance use and addictions. The research identifies several challenges in the implementation of the Ruta Integral, including limited resources, geographical and socio-economic barriers, insufficient training of health personnel, and mental health-related stigma. It also highlights the importance of integrating psychological and mental health aspects into comprehensive care pathways, emphasising the role of psychology professionals in their implementation. Strategies to address these challenges involve collaboration between psychologists, health workers, government agencies and community organisations, along with education and awareness campaigns. The findings of this research provide valuable insights into the implementation of comprehensive health care pathways at the community level in Colombia. The results of the study can serve as a basis for improving the implementation of these pathways, identifying best practices and making recommendations for improving health care in vulnerable communities. By addressing challenges and barriers, it is possible to strengthen the effectiveness and impact of the Integrated Health Promotion and Maintenance Pathway, ultimately improving the well-being and overall health of the population. | spa |
