| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | The crop of Cannabis sativa (C. Sativa) for the extraction of Cannabidiol (CBD) essential oil used for medicinal purposes, has been increasing in Colombia since its legalization in 2016. Being such a new and promising market, producers have become faced production challenges to position itself at the competitive level of international standards. One of these challenges is a post-harvest process called “manicurado”, process that requires considerable time and labor, negatively affecting final costs. The objective of this research was to determine the effects of girdling, in stems of C. sativa CBD-4, regarding the optimization of manicurado time. For this, 48 plants were intervened in their 4 weeks of flowering, comparing at the end, the manicurado time of the ringed plants vs to 6 witnesses, for a total of 54 plants of the company ANUTEA S.A.S. of Eastern Antioquia dedicated to the crop and extraction of CBD. The data purification and management process was carried out by means of the ANOVA ON-WAY, which were processed by Excel 2013 and R-Studio. The results obtained indicate that the most optimal week to do the girdling in favor of reducing the manicurado time is week 8 after transplant (first week of flowering) and the time for said work was 3.62 minutes, while the witness took 4.02 minutes. | spa |
