| dc.description.abstract | La finalidad de este artículo es la de formular una propuesta de acompañamiento teológico-espiritual para la persona en etapa terminal, dando un sentido al dolor que padece y que puede transformar en un acontecimiento salvífico en el que expresa la fe, la esperanza y la caridad cristianas. Se sigue aquí el método de la Teología fundamental propuesto por Alberto Parra en su libro: “Textos, contextos y pretextos”. Partimos del texto santo de la tradición divino - apostólica Col 1,24 donde Pablo valora el sufrimiento como posibilidad de completar “lo que falta a las tribulaciones de Cristo”; en una hermenéutica de la continuidad se intenta comprender la unión con Cristo a través del sufrimiento que nos ofrece la teología de San Juan de la Cruz. Para el contexto se parte de la actual situación pandémica, que ha llevado a preguntarse por la situación de la persona enfrentada a la enfermedad terminal y el sentido que pueda darle a la misma; para ello, se hace un recorrido por el Magisterio de la Iglesia, rastreando la respuesta que hasta el momento ofrece el mismo. En el pretexto se responde a varias preguntas: ¿Cuál es el acompañamiento espiritual a la persona en fase terminal? ¿Cómo humanizar dicha situación y ayudar a dar liberación en un momento tan dramático como el de la enfermedad terminal y la agonía? | spa |

| dc.description.abstractenglish | The purpose of this article is to formulate a proposal of theological-spiritual accompaniment for the person in the terminal stage, giving a meaning to the pain they suffer and that can transform into a salvific event in which they express faith, hope and charity Christian. We start from the holy text of the divine-apostolic tradition Col 1,24 where Paul values suffering as the possibility of completing “what is lacking in the tribulations of Christ”; In a hermeneutic of continuity, an attempt is made to understand the union with Christ through the suffering that the theology of Saint John of the Cross offers us. For the context, we start from the current pandemic situation, which has led to wonder about the situation of the person facing the terminal illness and the meaning that it can give to it; For this, a tour of the Magisterium of the Church is made, tracing the response that it offers up to now. In the pretext, several questions are answered: What is the spiritual accompaniment of the person in the terminal phase?
