dc.description.abstractEn este sencillo trabajo se busca realizar una propuesta teológica donde se pueda ver dos puntos de vista sobre el sentido último de la vida que es la muerte. Este paralelo se lleva a cabo entre la Iglesia Católica y los pueblos originarios Cubeos del departamento del Vaupés. Se inicia con la premisa con la cual el hombre a través de la historia se ha hecho múltiples preguntas sobre como inicia su vida y como culmina viendo la muerte como algo malo y no un signo esperanzador de una vida futura como lo plantea el mismo Pablo en los escritos neotestementarios. Pero para el indígena… ¿Que significa la muerte? Es desprenderse de este mundo y volver a la esencia del cuidado de la selva, pues en fin a eso fueron enviados a proteger lo más sagrado para ellos, sus selvas y ríos. Así que se podría afirmar que los sitios sagrados de la selva son muy importantes porque allí están los espíritus de las personas que han muerto y están en un proceso de ubicación en el universo, pero no todos los animales de la selva son rencarnación de personas que están en su proceso de nueva vida, los naturales son solo animales que no hacen ningún daño al hombre, sino que por consiguiente viven sin problemas.spa
