The nursing profession is based on caring, on the fact of keeping a person in conditions of well-being, being with him during the disease and accompanying him at the beginning and at the end of life. The present article aims to identify the factors that influence the humanization of care in nursing personnel, the study that was carried out is qualitative and interpretive, it was done with a documentary analysis technique, by means of a bibliographic review in several bases of data. The different studies showed that in Latin America there are unequal working conditions, increased workload, little empowerment of the functions of the nursing staff, burnout syndrome rapidly acquired in the work environment, which unfortunately lead to dissatisfaction with their work, causing them to become want to leave the profession.Mechanization and insensitivity are influential factors in the humanization of care. It is highlighted that from the academy values, ethics and bioethics are reinforced, among others, so that professionals in their work develop better in terms of dealing with patients and their families. For nurses, accessing specializations and other studies is difficult, because they are overcrowded. There are multiple investigations on this topic, where it is evidenced that not only education in sensitive areas of humanism should be strengthened, but also in the possibility of continuing to grow academically to provide better care to patients, resulting in warm care, and opportunity.es_ES
